Effect of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Neurology Trainees' Education and Practice

Objective: The COVID-19 pandemic has rapidly changed the neurology training landscape. study was designed to assess effects of on education, practice, and well-being US trainees.
 Methods: A 36-item survey distributed residents fellows in United States through various media platforms.
 Results: Over an 8-week period, 286 responses were received, 285 included. Almost all (93%) trainees academic setting. Tele-neurology use by minimal (13%) prior pandemic; however, during 91% reported using it. majority (84%) did not receive tele-neurology pandemic. Most felt that impacted their education with fewer lectures being available, 77% resorted getting from outside institutions. Tele-lecturing video conferencing most common mode third (33%) they have enough PPE worried about exposing themselves or families COVID-19, had increased stress levels.
 Conclusion: This demonstrates no nor exposure pandemic, thrusted into Trainees overall negative educational impact, stressed Use technology availability institutions’ helpful continue activities this time.
